About Garima Clinics- A Premium Multispecialty clinic at Marine Drive
Garima Clinics was founded by Dr. Ankita Choudhary, a Philanthropic Doctor from Marine drive, Mumbai, a few years after her MBBS.
From humble beginnings to practising in Dr Popat’s polyclinic for 2 hrs a day, she was able to start her own clinic in Dec 2022, where she saw patients on a ‘pay as you like’ basis. In April 2023, she started a Premium Multi Specialty clinic where the finest specialists of the medical field came together under one roof to provide consultations to patients which are of international standards comparable to the best in the world.
Dr. Ankita has worked as a Neurology resident, and then as The Chief Medical Officer at NIMHANS, Bengaluru, and has an experience of seeing over 50,000 patients at the Neurology Screening OPD over a period of 5 years.
Then she worked as a Cardiac Surgery resident at The Bombay Hospital in Mumbai under the aegis of Dr. Devendra Saksena and Dr. Eric Borges.
In 2019, she visited the University of Utah in Salt Lake City to observe the routine and latest in Cardiology & Cardiac Surgery as a Dr. Russell Nelson Fellow.
She observed the use of Left Ventricular Assist Devices, Heart Transplant and TAVI ( Transcatheter Aortic Valve implantation)
